The strength and form of the bench come from folding sheet metal. The punched top allows water to drain and heat to disperse. The angled seat creates comfort along the entire length of the bench, while its symmetry means it can be approached and used from any direction. Commissioned for the 2012 London Design Festival’s Bench Years exhibition at the Victoria and Albert Museum London.
